The Waiuku Yacht Club is running two Learn to Sail block courses this season. The first 4 day course runs over two weekends 31st Oct, 1st,14, 15th November 2020. The second block course runs from the 16th,17th,30th and 31st January 2021.The course is popular and numbers are limited so pre-registration is a good idea.
Cost of the course is $100 and includes Yachting NZ membership, we provide the boats and the qualified YNZ coaches. If you would like to purchase a LTS Yachting NZ Handbook they are $15 each
Sailors must also bring a parent or big helper to help rig, launch, retrieve and clean boats.
Parents and helpers are encouraged to join the fun by helping in the chase boats and the club offers training for anyone interested. There’s also plenty of opportunity to learn to sail too.
