Clark’s Beach Sail Trip is a fun overnight event for both young sailors and their families.
We will begin from Waiuku Yacht club on Saturday 8th February 8:30am safety briefing and rig up and then aiming to be on the water at 9:30am for our sail to Glenbrook beach where we stop for lunch. Those not sailing are kindly asked to help transport items and all are welcome to meet the sailors at Glenbrook to hear of the kids adventures so far!
The sail continues on to Clark’s beach where after sorting the boats we set up tents and have a BBQ. It’s a fun finish to the day with games for the kids before bed.
Should you not have a tent you’re welcome to stay inside the Clarks Beach Yacht Club.
The next day we’ll pack up and sail back to Waiuku non stop on the incoming tide, aiming to arrive in the afternoon.
Cost is only $20 per person. Cash to be paid on the day (find Vicki Linnell on the morning) but pre-registration essential. Please note the cost applies to all those attending (sailors and non sailors) as it covers all meal costs for the trip.
Parent sailors are encouraged to sail as well!

If you’re keen to help in any way we’re always looking for helpers on the RHIBs and would greatly appreciate a few parent helpers to transport luggage/tents and food.
