The Learn To Sail course is run over 8 sessions. While it is important to attend each session as they build upon each other, we will do our best to get sailors back up to speed if sessions are missed.
As our sailing area at Sandspit Beach is tidal, our sessions are planned around the tide times and tide height. Sessions may finish earlier depending on weather conditions.
Cost: $200.00 per person (payment required promptly to secure your place, details provided upon registration). This covers boat and PFD use, and coaching costs.
Also included in the Learn to Sail program are two new year refresher sessions in January / February, our camp sail to Clarks Beach, and use of club boats until the end of the season. The date for the Clarks Beach Overnight Camp, an epic 22km round trip, is yet to be confirmed, but is likely to be 28 Feb and March 1st.
